The clubsport will never be road legal.

You can buy a bolt in roll cage from Porsche for the street car.

New GT3 was just announced, AP is not going to say GT4 RS is right around the corner or even that it is being planned. Such news would surely impact new GT3 sales.

Local wealthy guy had a black GT4 done in Clubsport motif....not so convincing....

He didn't say never - just "engineering capacity reached at the moment" and "don't expect it next year." I'm certain it will happen.

I'm new to the GT world. Is it safe to say that a GT4RS will be much less streetworthy than a GT4? Anybody have guesses on the MSRP of a GT4RS might be?

Judging by the silhouette, the GT4RS exists at the end of the GT3 teaser video The last time I got this excited at silhouettes was playing Mortal Kombat 3

I think it was mentioned previously, but if Porsche marketing history repeats itself, a GT4RS would most likely show up in the final model year of the 718. It's barely a year old at this point, and I'd think they keep it in production for longer than a 2 year run...so 2019?

Who knows...

There will be a 718 GT4 towards the end of the body production.
There will be no "RS" variant. You will need to step up to a 991GT3 if you want RS badges...
