Transparency has never solved anything. Don't be a whistleblower keep this issue clandestine

You would be supprised how important a little bad PR is to a manufacture and how it can motivate them to take action to rectify the problem. I'm not saying being critical just the facts .Love the car..

When I had a BMW Z8 there was a frame controversy. The run-flat tires for the US models had sidewalls that were too stiff for the frame. The front struts mounts were getting distorted once you hit a pothole. (I thanked God that I changed the tires early on - so my car was perfect.) BMW was dragging their feet for a couple years and once the story hit the Wall Street Journal BMW quickly offered a "performance package" which was nothing more than a strut mount. There was a follow up article on how the news impacted the manufacturer and forces them into action.

unfortunantly, it doesn't look like rev match has anything to do with it based on other users experiences

Only safe if using certified organic, non-GMO, fair trade, sustainable fuel source.

Doesn't Whole Foods sell gas?

My GT4 is a 3/16 build, delivered 4/16. I have not encountered any issues but have very limited miles on the car (390). I plan on keeping this GT4 and this transmission issue obviously concerns me. I sent an email to PCNA in Atlanta this week and also spoke with a customer service rep at PCNA yesterday. I received an email reply from Porsche Specialist Douglas A. Roth Jr. in Atlanta who wrote "There are no open recalls or workshop campaigns" on my GT4, based on my VIN. He did not acknowledge whether or not he had heard of a transmission issue on the GT4. The customer service rep that I actually spoke with said that this was the first time he had heard about a potential transmission issue with the GT4. At face value I find it hard to believe that neither has heard about the transmission concern. The number they left me in case I had any further questions was 1 800 767 7243. It surprises me, especially with the dieselgate Volkswagen issue, that more is not being done regarding this matter. To me personally, I'm not satisfied knowing I have a Porsche warranty in case something happens. There is obviously a pattern of transmission failures occurring and I just hope that internally Porsche is investigating and addressing the issue.

^ i spoke to PCNA customer service numerous time. completely useless, a poor use of company resources. nothing they say i do not already know. nothing i know they have a clue.

there is no recall or TSB. but if your trans has issue, they will warranty it.

I always park at the charging stations in the Whole Foods lot. But that is the only thing I do that adds to my bad karma.
