Ha, sorry my "facetious and/or sarcasm" filter was turned on. Apparently, it's calibration has been messed up by listening to Donald Trump speeches.
I want a street-legal Clubsport. Didn't someone post a plated Clubsport in German? Pretty cool.

You can buy a brand new one direct from Porsche for $165k. Without all the extras this one has of course.
I guess we will see what the discount is for a used one. Although it already looks like their reserve is probably a bit high.

This is the first Clubsport that I know of to be offered for "re-sale" - a few were offered new by race shops after delivery in the States - but not a "re-sale". So the market for this car is unknown.
If the car is available free of race entry fee commitments, with only 15 hours it will be a very nice option for someone. So price it sells for, if it sells, will be quite interesting.

Correct, I've seen several with my own eyes around the Nurburgring going to the track on public roads...
But I also agree that they aren't street legal, and these situations were for special purposes... and it would be ESPECIALLY impossible to get a Clubsport STREET-legal for the US DOT requirements for airbags, passenger safety, etc.
Collector or special use? Sure. Street-legal? No.

Anybody notice the front strut tower reinforcing plates. Looks like a simple bolt-on factory piece. Wonder if there available from Porshe Motorsport ? I know on the street GT4they reinforced the rear strut towers with an extra steel cup riveted in . Easy way to reinforce the Front strut top mount
