What car did you trade for your GT4?

Hey Rennlisters, long time reader first time poster. I just drove 2500 miles in two days to trade in my 2015 M3 for my brand new GT4. The M3 was a great daily but it was also jack of all trades master of none. It's too wide, heavy, numb feeling, poor sensation of speed, and as we all know not the best sounding. It seems like the trade-up from the F8X platform to GT4 is highly common! I've got 1400 miles and they've all been amazing. What an intoxicating exhaust note the GT4 has! BMW is not what they used to be in the late 80s - early 2000s as far as sporting pedigree

Burning Brakes
I didn't trade anything. I had no "fun" car at the time. My last one was a 2002 WRX. my wife starting to work again is what made the car possible so you might say I traded in my *****.
It was worth it.

My Macan GTS is actually my F80 replacement. It drives, quiet, fast enough good handling feel, good utility, strong but unfortunately sensitive brakes, better sound system and better for the snow and cheap insurance. I never considered SUV until Porsche invited me to try one on the auto X. Another excellent vehicle.

Try the M2, I took one for a test drive and it feels nimble like the way you expect the M3 to evolve after the E46 M3. I was shocked how different since I hated my F80 due to crap steering, throttle, feeling big and etc.

Sadly, the days of NA high revving motors are behind us. Still hoping the GT divisions caries the torch into next gen, but time will tell. There is currently no NA Porsche being sold (not incl the RS and GT 4 given production is sunsetting).

Aaaargh, don't tell me how good the Macan is, otherwise I'll cave and order one now! I'm looking at a Macan Turbo to replace my A45 AMG, possibly late next year. This video made my mind up for me :
