These are my PS4S after four 20min sessions back when I had a Cayman S. This happened 3 times. Others swear by them, so YMMV.

I'm curious to know what tire pressures you were running. I've been through two sets of PS4S, running 35-36 hot, and have never seen anything approaching that tread separation. Maybe I'm just not driving hard enough :-).

Track cold: 26/29
Same pressure for all other tires I’ve used. Front/rear camber: 3.0/2.8, Sway bar: Med/hard. I do have some of the best production car times at my track.
I’ve read a few more people with similar results, but most people like them. I usually don’t drive the GT4 on a wet track either. PS4S are better in the wet than the Goodyear.
My home track is Gateway in St. Louis. It’s been known to be hard on tires.

Similar setup to mine, I'm at Summit Point, WV about half of my track days. I'm running BFG R1s this season, so the PS4S will be mostly rain tires. I'm sure they'll see some dry use, though. I'll keep a more watchful eye, now that I've seen that photo...

Oh, and I've tried to chase CyberGeorge around that track many times. He is VERY fast...and smooth.

What sizes are you guys running for the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3? Are they the same as the RE71?
I am running 19" wheels and will need some new shoes to replace the RE71 - thanks!

Lot's of tire talk lately. Just had the SC2's installed (N1 compound and heat cycled by TireRack) and really struggled in wet/damp conditions this weekend at Autobahn CC North Course. Was not so much my inexperienced wet driving (finding the wet line is an experience), still slipping the wheels when short shifting on the straights was a surprise. Throwing it out there for what it's worth. Loved them in the dry last year and hope I get the same grip I experienced previously in my next outing.
