It's here!

After 6 months of spec'ing, ordering, changing color, waiting, changing color, waiting, changing color, waiting, ordering parts, waiting, and waiting... it has arrived. 9 miles on the odometer. Even better than I could have expected--how it looks, how it feels, how it drives (even on the brief half hour home). It's going to be hard to keep it under 4k rpm for the break-in.

congrats, and AP says keep it under 5k, so enjoy.

I'm sure you'll be able to catch up to my paltry 200 miles in no time (shame on me), but I'll be putting a few break-in miles on my car Sunday to and from the Paul Miller Porsche event in NJ. If you're in the NYC area, are you going? (There's a thread from PistolPete about it.) To me, the driving just keeps getting better (if that's possible) every time I get behind the wheel and handle the shifter! I am following break-in procedures, keeping below 4k rpms and varying speeds and rpms. Congratulations on your beautiful new car...enjoy it!

Congratulations. Great looking car.

So good for you! Well, you have to make time for miles now. I'm at 590 and scheduled for 5/16 at Watkins Glen and should be WOT in a week or so. Enjoy the noise and be patient!

This car just feels like you were born to be in it!

Thanks--won't make it to Paul Miller, but I am going to Lime Rock for Metro NY PCA next Saturday. I believe there will be a lot of PTS GT4s there. I was originally going to be running in my 991S, but the GT4 came early, so I needed to turn the 991 in and pick up the GT4 today. (First-world problems.) I'll be spectating on Saturday--not enough miles on the car yet...
