New here! Audi RS5 to 2016 GT4
Pic of my current car :
Soooo hi guys!! Very pumped and excited to get this car. Can't wait to have manual back in my life!!! Let me start off by saying I have never owned a Porsche b4. All I have ever had was Audi's. Im gonna post my build thread I have on Audizine just to show : http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...s-build-thread
I guess I got lucky bc I emailed the Porsche dealer near me and he said he had one coming mid may w basically all the options I wanted which was awesome. Cant wait for it and very excited. Just wanted to introduce myself. Already ordered some stuff like a sunshade and led clear lights. I realllly need a car cover tho. Which one should I get?! Please help me on that.

Congrats. I just picked-up my GT4 two weeks ago - first p-car as well. I also have a RS5 that I am keeping as my DD and have been tracking for a few years. Love the RS5. But, right out of the box the GT4 feels much more capable in the handling area and slightly better in acceleration. The almost 1000 lb. difference in weight is certainly a big difference. The RS5 is set up with Ohlin race coilovers, track alignment and 295 Trofeo R's all around, so it is about as good as it gets in RS5 handling. The GT4 is another level. An absolute blast. The GT4 sound is also step above the RS5 and that is a tall order. The RS5 winding up to 8300 is an incredible sound.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

I went from an APR Stage I RS7 to the Boxster Spyder. No regrets at all. The RS7 made over 700hp and torque but the Spyder is so much more of a visceral experience.
I would have liked a GT4. I have the first allocation slot available at my dealer for the 991.2 GT3 RS and they had a Spyder come in. I test drove it and took it home. I also picked up an S550 coupe for when we need four seats.

Welcome to the forum. I really like the RS5. But, the feel of the GT4, the mid engine balance, and the fact that it is much lighter than the RS5, makes it a more rewarding driving experience.

But, I did buy these lumber support pads for me and my wife for long trips. Fit perfectly between the bolsters.
