what size shims does one need to get -2.5 up front, I see the front LCA has a shim in it oem as is.
I have been told people are running out of threads :-(

I think the only way that we will determine the real working option is to get 2 Solo DL and SmartyCam setups and put different versions of code on them and A/B test them. At this point I have to see it for myself. I really want to just lock in a working setup, mount and calibrate this and worry more about driving than gear acquisition.

what rear toe links did you fit to allow you to get -2 at the rear ? and again did you have to add rear shims ?

Regarding LCA shims, On my Cayman S, I figured that a 10 mm shim equaled 1 degree of camber. GT4 should be similar. Don't overlook the adjustment at the top of the strut. There is about 1 degree total there dependent on where the strut was initially set. I set the top of my struts in the middle and then calculated the number of shims required giving me a little leeway to fine tune camber.

Well sh*t. You stated that this borrowed gear, so it must be OBD2 that you are using. Did you pull the data off the AIM gear and look at in the data analysis tool? Perhaps the brake pressure is being calculated by the gyros in the Solo? Any chance you can get your friend to confirm the hardware and software versions he owns?
I don't actually see an OBD brake channel in the list. Maybe it is interpolated data - dunno.

I had to re-read this a few times. Can you clarify something? The solid bushings you added are the caster pucks or you upgraded to monoball inner control arm bushings? Nice journal, subscribed!

I did get out at Laguna with the new setup. Posted some notes earlier in the thread. In short the car was excellent with the new setup and I didn't have the discipline to manage my tires well. That's the next focus, along with adjusting the sway bars. Also getting some safety stuff added (seats, harnesses, etc) but can't quiet lock in the timing of when that work will be done. Next outing is 16 Jan @ Thunderhill and I'm not coaching so I should have a full days worth of data and thoughts on the setup.
