True, but think about the net outcome. The more they build these evolved versions of the Cayman, the better the brand. And, the more people will successfully get into the sport of tracking with a truly fun / safe / and dependable sports car.

Its a winning formula for Porsche - the combo of the Clubsports racing on TV and the capable GT4 on the street.

My estimate is still tracking at about 2,500 for North America, which translates to about 5,000 worldwide. Now just knowing about the skipped sequence VIN's that I see a lot of that makes that number slightly low. So 5,000 to 5,500 is right about the number I am looking at.

Of course Porsche could spew out another raft of allocations at any time and change everything. but currently that is what it appears we are going to get.

I updated, and finished June production and got a good start on July although I am not completely up to date yet. Should be soon.

before I put in a bunch more VIN's though I am going to try and catch up on this thread and registering individuals to their GT4's. It looks like I am about 20 behind on that one.

Gmaki, glad you're able to pick this back up, and thanks again for taking time out of your life to maintain this database.

You may not be finished with your update yet, but I noticed cells L/M/N in row 102 are not totaling in the month of July.

I've been behind but largely caught up as of today. Might want to check again for your car, or send me your VIN and I will let you know if I have it yet or not.

Hmm, that's a new one on me. What the heck it's registered to you. They say posession is 9/10ths of the law right?

I regret to inform you that you have one of those VIN's that for whatever reason isn't in PCNA yet. I do have you marked down for it once it does show up though.

Also one that is not yet in PCNA. Still marking you down for it so I get it registered once it does appear.

I "think" that catches me up. If you have messaged me in the past and you have not heard back please don't hesitate to ping me again.

While perusing this amazing database (well done) i discovered that my GT4 did not come with the extended range fuel tank that I ordered. Turns out that the salesman did not add it to the order despite me sending him the build specs and a link to the build.

I didn't notice because I only checked the price of my spec vs. the price of his. Both were the same obviously because this is a $0 option.

What should I do if anything? I'm not happy about it but I guess its not that big of a deal.

I recall a thread about this exact issue when it happened to someone else. There was a lot of discussion at the time of what the dealer could do. Maybe someone can link to it or perhaps you can find it via search.

If I remember correctly
They ( the dealer ) switched it out
It's certainly not the fault of the buyer !!
It needs a big tank 😉

Default Allocations

Hi,
Are there still or will be allocations with any dealer for GT4s that can be configured or the ship is completely sailed?
