He also hasn't responded to the messages I've sent him over the course of the past few months. It's a shame because it seems like they put a lot R&D and track experience into their products. I'm very interested in their multilink suspension but I'm scared to install something like that on my car given the lack of customer support I've experienced thus far.

I would be patient or try again to call Gavin. It is a small enterprise and they are busy with upcoming local PCA DE's but I can say his customer service has been excellent and beyond reproach. In addition his knowledge of these cars is top notch and irreplaceable. I will let him know to check Rennlist when I see him this weekend.

I would be really interested in a group buy! I can’t believe everyone and their mom who owns a GT4 hasn’t done this mod yet

Default AutoQuest

I believe Gavin has been dealing with medical issues and agree that the best bet is to call and speak to Amy

Hello Everyone,

Gavin Riches, the owner of AutoQuest Motorsports, passed away peacefully on Saturday surrounded by family while listening to videos of him racing Porsches. Details on his celebration of life will be forthcoming, including a website/live feed and we'll be sure to post it up in the various AQ threads for those interested in being a part of it that cannot make it in person.

That all said, this was a long battle that has understandably affected the responsiveness of himself and the company to inquiries such as these on the forums and via phone/email. Gavin's wife Amy wants you all to know that his legacy will live on through the continued existence of AutoQuest Motorsports and their product line supporting the Porsche community. It will take a little time for Amy and the rest of the team to come full circle and get back on Rennlist to update everyone on the final drive. Until that time, I am happy to answer any product questions myself to the best of my ability. Gavin was my mentor during the time I worked for AutoQuest, and I know the product line quite well. Please feel free to call me at 4848836197 any time to discuss the FDR change. In due course, I'll ensure Amy and you guys reconnect in the event you'd like to move forward with the project.

Best regards,
John Gaydos

Gosh it is very sad to hear. I can only imagine his wife family and firm will need time to pause, reflect and begin to heal and I wish them great success in taking his legacy on.

Very sad indeed to lose a person with such great energy and enthusiasm. A big loss for the Porsche community. My condolences to Amy and his family.

Jim
