I can't answer your question, but perhaps more importantly, I'm not sure what your question is.
Are you saying that you are taking a 2001 996 that started out as an automatic transmission vehicle and converting it into being a manual transmission car? Not really clear what your question is, if you want to get a good answer you need to make your question clear.
Also, you will probably get more responses in the 996 forum, than here, in the general Porsche forum.
