I can't agree with the Panarama on that list. I can think of a dozen or more non 911's i'd pick first.

Let's hear it! I'm assuming the 987 Spyder is on the list and I wouldn't argue with that.

Hey! I'm new to the Porsche game myself but first and foremost I would get all of the receipts, maintenance records, and past ownership information. After that information has been procured it helps to have a good independent mechanic who specializes in these cars go over it. Sometimes Porsche dealerships will run a Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) but the indy will most likely yield a much better report. The Porsche Dealership PPIs can be hit or miss. You'll have to put some money into the inspection but it can save you headaches in the long run so it's definitely worth the investment. Just do some digging on who you're having look over the car and you should be set!
