Interesting article. Except for the fact that you have a photo of an 80's era 911 Targa, not a 996. And you mention warranty will cover repairs on a 996 when in fact the final warranty on a 996 would have expired many years ago. Oh, and aside from the leaking rear main seal, the rest are not the most common 996 problems. Coolant loss is common, but from a leaky tank or water pump (which you don't mention), not a cracked cylinder liner. Some of these are among the more obscure problems. Strange.
