Default Miles or warranty?

I've been looking at buying a 981 Porsche Cayman recently and I came across two 2014s that I liked. Both have mostly the same options and are priced about the same ($47k and $48k). Both are from Northern California.

Car 1:
- 30k miles
- CPO warranty until 2020

Car: 2:
- 15k miles
- No CPO, warranty expires in 5 months (Oct 2017)

In this situation, which car would you recommend? Car 1 with 30k miles but warranty until 2020, or car 2 with only 15k miles, but only 5 months of warranty?

Thanks!

Neither car has a whole lot of miles. I think it depends on the car's other attributes (color, options, etc.), condition, and your intended usage pattern.

If it is going to be a garage queen and only get a few thousand miles per year, maybe go with the lower mileage car. If on the other hand you are going to drive it, and will rack up the miles, then the CPO warranty might be of real value to you.

I would prefer the longer warranty. Each to his own.
