Default Car storage "active space" in NW

I've noticed a few facilities in Seattle and Portland that offer storage but also allow you to work on your car. They provide security, lights, heat, power, and let you store your tools, supplies, detailing stuff, etc.

A lot of us probably have full garages at home, with no room for another car, but want something more than a public storage unit that is unheated and doesn't allow you to use the space for anything but storage.

How many of you think that there is a market for more active storage facilities in the NW with 24/7 access that allow you to keep your toys close to home and do light maintenance work as if it was your own shop? If a standard basic 15' by 20' public storage unit is $250 per month, what would a garage space be worth to you if it had all the basic utilities?
