Is America as paranoid as Britain?
I made a video from a club outing in the UK :

Although those in it seemed to like it some others in the club claimed I'd
damaged the integrity of the club and did everyone a disservice because
of the anti-car lobby, even though all actual speeds were legal, although
video effects were used too.
Would this problem happen in America?

I lived in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surry, UK for two years and loved the area. The pubs I had to get used to and the slang terms, but I can understand how one might feel put upon at your pub. I like to think that we could care less one way or the other.
