Porsche Parts Warranty Question

Anyone know if Porsche's 2-year Parts Warranty is transferrable? Previous owner had PDK replaced at dealership ($18k). Unit failed today, 5k miles, 13 month later.

Yes, Porsche honored 2 year parts warranty, problem was caused by a software glitch, it got fixed by resetting it. Out of pocket cost $275.
