Default Obtaining my Porsche 911 Provenance

Why is it so difficult to obtain the provenance of my 2004 Carrera Cab? When purchased in 2016, it came with a clear Carfax but little else. I believe that I'm the second owner of this beautiful, good-running California 911 since the Carfax lists the history of its registration and dealer servicing. I contacted my local Porsche dealer and the servicing dealerships in California, but none of them would help me. I understand that there may be personal info on the service records, but that could be redacted as we know this is an issue with today's privacy concerns. I also emailed PCA about this and they simply referred me back to the dealers, so that was very disappointing as well. I'm sure I'm not the only Porsche owner who would like to know a solution to obtaining their vehicle's provenance, so how do you suggest this process can be improved? /X3
