2019 Targa4 GTS msrp discount????
Does anyone have any experience with what kind of discount one should expect off MSRP FOR A 2019 targa4 GTS currently sitting on a dealer lot?? OR PREVIOUS YEARS if any experience .
dealer only moved approx 3.7% off msrp. I’m thinking they should do better. But I’m also being told by others in the know that there are not many of these cars so they retain value better. Any help appreciated

I received 6% off an ordered 2019 Targa GTS back in July, which arrived in November. It depends on where you are since when I was shopping some dealers were not offering any discount. Some deakers now though think that the market for 991s are strong since the 992 is coming (many do not like it as much) so they think they can offer less of discount. There are not many out there though and your discount is not bad so if you like the car you should buy it, or someone else will.

thank you so much, this is very helpful. Congrats on your new Targa GTS. Do you love it??? What did you have before? Are you experiencing any beffering noise with the roof down at speeds over 50mph? Is there a wind deflector?

The Targa is great and no buffeting with the top down and it has a windstop on the windshield header that works well. I had a C7 Targa and could not drive over 50 with the top off due to buffeting and my wife hated it (so did I actually). And yes, I love it, a lot.

Thank you Bob this is great news as I know It would irritate me and my wife as well. So what color combo did you go with? I’m looking at agate grey with Bordeaux

PDK or manual
Did you get the PDK OR MANUAL? Also did you get Alcantara?
i have a chance to get either. PDK has bordeuex red
manual has ALCANTARA (which I love) IN BLACK WITH RED STITCHING AND RED SEAT BELTS

Manual, if PDK was the only option I would not have bought it. I got full leather, and I wanted ventilated seats, which you cannot get with Alcantara.

Whatever works best for you! I have no commute at all and it shifts like a knife rowing through hot butter so even if I did I would get it!
