Default 997.1 Engine Replacement - Value

Curious on thoughts for/against buying 997.1 C4S that had engine replacement in 2011 for bad cylinder walls. Fully covered under warranty at the time. Nonetheless, owner was quick to part a few short months later. Talk me into or out of this decision

Was it a factory replacement or rebuild?

Its worth ZERO!

seriously it's not worth anything as it will never be "as originally mfg'd".

if you care about value, which you obviously do since you asked the question, run, don't walk, RUN AWAY.

You will be glad u did.

I wasn't intending to come across mean, BTW, just uh clear in my recommendation.
