Hey Rennlisters: This is my first post. I'm looking for some guidance on replacing my crappy aftermarket mirrors with a set of Porsche flag mirrors. What I have, a 1978 924, a pair of non-electric flag mirrors and gaskets (I believe from a 1986 924S image 1) What I need, part numbers 14,15,16 and 17 on image 2. (any suggestions where I can purchase the parts would be greatly appreciated) What I would love to have, a full scale template of the holes to drill. If I understand the mechanics correctly tightening the pan head screw moves the base mounting piece up the screw and holds the mirror base against the door. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
