2017 Macan CPO
HI, i'm trying to get some feedback on what type of discount off of MSRP i should be aiming for when trying to purchase a 2017 Macan CPO.
I'm looking at a car that was probably around $55k new (based on the options listed), and they're advertising it on their website for $51.XXX with about 6k miles on it.
I've never shopped for a CPO and the dealer said that "CPOing a car involves cost etc" but i think it's nonsense, the car is basically new.
Anybody know how much discounts are given on new ones and how much I should be looking to target for a CPO? Especially with the facelift coming on the 2018, i figured I should be able to get a decent discount.
Looks like they're currently are giving ~8% for this car which is probably doable on a brand new one.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
If it makes a difference, looking to buy in Texas.

I'm being told that they can pretty much CPO any 2017 Macan for $2000 (at least at this one dealership I spoke with). If that's the case, It might be a better idea to find the most discounted non-CPO and have the CPO the car.
Any thoughts on this?
