991 GT3 advice
Hello I was wondering if $140k is a good price for a 2015 GT3 with 5k miles on it. It does not have ceramic brakes. Are there any GT3 enthusiasts that I can PM? Thanks

If it's a really nice one with the right options and color you want, it is worth it. Assuming it was not flogged excessively on race tracks. Especially if its a CPO car. If it is not the way you would specify it, you might consider passing on it. A number of GT3s will likely come up for sale soon, with the new GT3 coming out, and you might find a 2015 GT3 you like better. The lack of PCCBs would not bother me. They are very expensive to replace, and their benefits are not fully appreciated on a GT3, except during serious track use. I would not want 50% worn PCCB, as a replacement set will spoil the looks of $20k. Unless you drive really hard on race tracks, , you would never miss having PCCB. ...except maybe for the Yellow colored calipers. If it's a Racing Yellow GT3, those yellow calipers would look especially nice...

CPO or with a third party warranty and a G6 motor and a clean PPI? It's a decent deal. No warranty, G6, and no PPI? It's a bit off the bell curve unless it's the perfect spec for you.
I sold a 15 GT3 with iron brakes and sofas in February in New Jersey. 22K miles, leather dash, original F0/F1 motor, full PPF, third party warranty. Needed tires soonish. Listed at 133 and sold for 130.
Feel free to PM.

IMO, it would depend on how the car is optioned. Miles are super low which helps. If its got options like carbon fiber trim, painted gauges, front lift etc, it's not too bad, especially if its in the color and trim you like. Look for good maintenance history and a Porsche CPO. A 2015 likely has just under 2 years left on the Porsche extended engine warranty, so that takes a lot of worry off the table. When I bought mine, also a 2015, I actually opted for a car with higher mileage to avoid potential mechanical issues. My thinking was that the car was vetted already by the previous owner/s. I grabbed a 2015 with 26k miles, front lift, carbon fiber, red gauges and deviated stitching for 126k. I don't think it's good for these cars when sitting around long term. They need to be driven. Low miles could mean an issue that hasn't been found yet. Have Porsche do a full PPI on it and see if the price is flexible.
