Purchased two of these computers brand new when they came out in June of '09 and thought my parents would like it but they think it is too nice of a computer to use for just browsing the internet . I have all boxes, manuals, CD's for this computer and it is in a like new condition. Paid $2299 plus tax. Would like to get $1500 + shipping

Me too, and me too!
WELL worth it at this price. These are really, really nice computers. I went from a PC to this machine and will never go back. You can actually run Windows on these as well.

Damn... I hate seeing someone eat up depreciation like this (and I've done it too). One issue you might have is that a potential buyer can get the same computer from Apple (as refurbished rather than "like new") for only $79 more (plus sales tax, which can be more than a hundred bucks). And that buyer gets a fresh one-year warranty from a known seller....
Have you tried eBay? I've found you get very competitive prices for computers on eBay.

Oh ****... then my bad for not checking.
But you know, RennList is the last place I thought of to look for a laptop, lol. Plus, I wasn't looking online because I bought it a couple days before leaving to Mexico to study.

I have been thinking of getting a laptop, but was likely going to get just 13" refurbed Pro for about $900. Been having trouble justifying the extra cost to get a Mac, honestly.
Sorry for the OT. Free bump.
