Yes they are great computers. The one my parents use is still going strong and I purchased it back in 2004. It has needed nothing but a battery replacement during that time.

If taken care of they definitely are worth the money and last a very long time.

I just switched to a 13" MacBook Pro. Was not sure because of the higher price than windows machines. But now that it is running, I know I will never go back to windows.

I have it hooked up to a 27", wireless mac keyboard, and magic mouse. It is great.
