2007 GT 3 RS for sale
I am helping a friend sell his 2007 GT 3 RS, He is a member here on Rennlist but is way to busy to do this himself.
It is an Orange RS, 2007 model, with only 6806 miles, with the 380 mm PCCB brakes, it is garage kept and recieved nothing but the best. It was upgraded with the intention of being used for D E's, but was used only twice before a purchase of an 2008 cup car for the same purpose. He also is taking delivery of the new RS tomorrow, so that pretty much sealed it's fate so to speak. He is not in a rush to sell it so please only serious inquiries only. I will be able to answer all questions, and schedule any showings of the car to anyone interested. All upgrades on this GT3 was purchased new, there are no 2nd hand parts on this GT3.
Interior:
He has upgraded this RS with the factory RS roll bar that is powder coated orange to match the exterior perfectly. It is fitted with Porsche Scroth 6 pt harnesses with expiration date of 2013 on driver and passenger sides. It also is fitted with the factory GT3/Carrera GT bucket seats.
Polished fire extinguisher on a bk mount on the passenger side seat.
The harness shoulder straps are retained from sliding vertically on the bar with machined steel clamps, and the moton club sport rear shock canisters are mounted to the bar using quick release strap style mounts to make checking and charging the canister pressures a breeze.
The gas pedal is fitted with an aluminum pedal to aid in heel and toe shifting.
Exterior:
The front radiator inlets has screens installed to protect the condensors and radiators from debris. The front nose is protected with clear bra.
Suspension:
Moton club sport shocks, with remote mount canisters. These shocks are double adjustable (bump & compression). The canister lines have the dry break connectors, and canisters are currently set at 150 psi.
hypercoil 2.25" springs, eibach 2.25" 0 wt tender springs and hypercoil hydraulic spring perch's. With mono ball shock mounts front and rear.
Front spring rate is 900 lbs, and the rear is 1100 lbs.
The rear upper control arm (dog bones) are erp units, the lower control arms are fitted with erp solid trailing arm bushings, and monoball inner arm bushings front and rear.
Front and rear toe links were replaced with erp toe links that are bump steer adjustable.
Exhaust:
AWE full system, what a beautiful system!! Very impressive construction and sound. Plus the added benefit of the car reving much faster then with the stock exhaust!!!
I tried to be as thorough as possible in this description, but I could of misssed something. All factory parts that were removed during the upgrades will come with the car when sold.
Here are some pic's, I will have suspension pic's in the next few days.
Black CCW 18" rims that clear the PCCB's are available for sale seperatly, they have brand new Hoosier's mounted on them. I will have a price on those tomorrow.
This GT3 is capable of a sub 2:05 lap at VIR full course at about 90% at full weight, no lightening of the car was done. Which I have witnessed on a duplicate build on another RS absolutely no difference between the 2 cars. (because I performed the work on both)
Asking price is 120k.
Which is a screaming deal, you cannot duplicate this car at this price. Upgrades alone were over 50k.

Sorry, another part related question. Where did you get the machined steel clamps that keep the harnesses from sliding on the bar? I've been looking for those for my clubsport bar, but can't find them.
Many thanks in advance.
