This is a original 20K RSA, was damaged in a engine fire, best I can tell it was the classic resistor air duct failure. The air box and fuel injection was damaged as well as the paint on the rear deck, tail and portions of the rear quarter panel. Some wiring was damaged as well. The fuel injection was completely replaced, and all the necessary wiring has been repaired. All the original miscellaneous parts are included.
I purchased the car in pieces, as the previous owner had gathered most of the parts to restore the car for street use, and repainted the car, an excellent quality job. The car was never assembled. I bought the car and all the pieces, with the idea of building a replica cup racing car. The car was completely assembled with factory parts, and true cup parts where available. The results are a little too nice to now risk in a race, it has only seen PCA and NASA DE/Track days. With most of my time racing the 944SPEC I've decided to move on to a GT3Cup. So it must go. It is a wonderful track car, very capable and fast, looks great and makes beautiful noises. I hate to let it go but only so much room and time.
