F/S 1987 944S w Hybrid 3.0 S/S2 engine $4000obo
Up for sale is my 1987 Porsche 944S w/ Hybrid S/S2 Engine. Financial's aren't looking to good at them moment, so I'm going to have to get rid of the toy for now.
History:
Car is located in Columbus, ohio but spends time in mt vernon on the weekends.
This car was setup to auto-x by the PO. It definitely shows in the handling of this car. Power is strong from 2000rpm to redline and has plenty of get up and go. It put out 180hp/182tq rwp on the dyno at 944fest 08.

Work Done
I replaced the oil cooler seal the night before 944fest 08, as well as put in e3 sparkplugs, new cap, rotor, air filter, and mobile 1 20w50. Coolant was also refilled w/ GM dextron. Put 2 new Kuhmo ecsta spt 245/50zr 16 tires on the back. Replaced most of the interior with black pieces. Modified center console to fit a double-din unit. Upgraded headlights to except h4 bulbs. Has to sylvania silverstars installed.

Paint is a 10 footer. The last time it was painted it seems like it was a 250 macco special with no prep work done.
Rear bumper dmg (see thread at top in history)
small rust bubble on lower drivers side skirt
2 small surface rust spots on drivers door where paint chipped off.
Some road rash and a small crack on the lower front valance.
Has Porsche script door handles
other than that body is in good shape
Interior
75% converted to black. Still needs a drivers side door panel, rear carpet, glove box and center console.
Dash has very, small cracks, otherwise in excellent shape.
trim beside clock is broken on the end
Center console hinge is broken and has been replaced with black gorilla tape.
Has rear porsche script seats
Speakers are boston acoustic 4"x6"
Manual sunroof conversion
Dino steering wheel

Car runs, and will move and drive. But I would do a full flush of the engine before doing any serious driving. Honestly it could use a good refresh as well to be on the safe side.
Problems
No idea when the belts were changed or re tensioned
Idles rough on star-up then smooths out
Vacuum leak somewhere as it tends to run a bit rich
Cooling system needs flushed still
One of the belts squealed the other day but it went away after 30 secs.
Price
Price for everything i've listed in this thread is 3000obo
Would Like to sell this car as a whole. Would be willing to sell the engine and accessories plus the new parts for $2500 provided you come and pull the engine out.
