How often do you guys see it? I personally love it; it's not hard and cold in the winter nor hot and sticky in the summer.

During cold start, almost always there’s an abrupt stomping feedback when downshifting from 2 to 1; other shifts are fine. Sometime it will get stuck at 2 when comes to full stop, and sometimes it will trigger a fault error and automatically restart the engine - and occasionally continuously a few times. The fault message usually shows rear axle fault but it always clears itself after manually restarting the car. I brought it to an Indy (BR Racing) and they couldn’t replicate or find out what the issues were after 7 days. Anyone has any similar experience or suggestions here? I plan to bring it to a dealer for a checkup but concerns about this being intermittent.

Hello all, i have a 2014 911 turbo S that i recently acquired which has the well known issue of dripping tiny amounts of oil from the passenger side intercooler to turbocharger hose. Ive replaced this hose on my last 2014 911 turbo S as well and it resolved the problem, but on this car, it is still dripping.

There is a difference between the 2 cars though, this turbo S has aftermarket bydesign intercoolers, my last turbo S had the stock intercoolers. Wondering if this matters, or if maybe the hose i was sent is defective? This car also has a tune, and my last one did not, im not sure if this contributes to additional oil leaking from the passenger side intercooler or not. Pictures below of the leak with the new hose installed. It is a factory OE porsche hose, part number 99111063673. Is it possible i was sent the old design of the hose?

I know that porsche says this is not problematic but the entire reason they redesigned this hose is to stop the oil from dripping so i find this very strange, and this is also the only reason i purchased it.

I'm selling my 2017 By Design Stage 4 911 Turbo with 600 miles on a Signature 1000 build completed by Sam in March of this year.
I'm keeping my 2018 Turbo S with it's By Design XR package.

My good friend Tony Perez from Valley Car Center in Tarzana is handling the sale for me:

https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1512525

I think the car is priced very fairly considering all the extras and has relatively low miles for the year. I'm actually the 3rd owner of the car; not the 5th as listed in the Carfax. My purchase was counted twice because I bought it in Tucson, AZ as a CPO car and had to first register it there and then transfer it to CA and there was a dealer to dealer trade in the past. Anyway, the car was originally quite pricey for a Turbo as it came with the optional PDCC, FAL and Burmeister stereo. The car is 100 percent streetable and passed CA emissions in April, 2026 with zero issues.

Please feel free to ask myself, Tony or Sam any questions. I'm hoping it will find a good home with a performance oriented driver who can appreciate all the high quality extra stuff the car comes with. All work done on the car since I bought it was done through Sam at By Design, Porsche of Woodland Hills, House Automotive in Encino and World Motorsports in Torrance.

Thanks.

While I try to get high octane fuel, sometimes the tank is empty and one has to take what is there.
Any thoughts on implications if instead of 98 Octane one uses 93?

Or just ignore and move on?
