1. SoCal All-Porsche Swap and Car Display, Sunday–March 8th, 2015
The 356 Club's So Cal All-Porsche Swap & Car Display will again be held on the day after the Lit Meet, Sunday, March 8th, once again at the Phoenix Club, 1340 South Sanderson, Anaheim, CA 92806. If you’ve been there, you know it’s a terrific site. See www.thephoenixclub.com for details on this German-American Club As before, they will have the FestHalle of 11,500 feet under one roof, plus lots of outside room for more vendors and a large grass field for car corrals. Gates open at 8 a.m. As before, vendors will make a $60 donation per space and car displayers a $20 donation, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Long Beach, CA 90804We will have our WR Annual Open House on Friday March 6th the day before the Lit Meet from 9AM to 5PM. Coffee and pastries are available in the morning and our Grill-Meisters will be grilling German Bratwurst for lunch.
Cars in all stages of restoration will be on display, and WR techs will be available to explain why our restorations have become known as the best in the industry.We will also be giving test rides in our newest 2.1 liter; have engine demonstrations, videos, a slide show, and a Cars For Sale section.
This year will feature the return of our Mobile Dyno set-up across the street, and anyone interested in having their car dyno tested should call our parts manager Michael at (714) 356-4250 to get on the schedule. The cost is only $95 per car. This is a great opportunity to find out how much rear wheel horsepower your car is making! Each run will feature a color print out with HP, Torque and Fuel Mixture. 4. Jim Liberty’s Open House, Saturday—March 7th, 2015
Jim Liberty will hold an Open House with light food and drinks at his shop from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday, March 7th, just after the Lit Meet and just before the European Collectibles open house. L.A. Dismatler will hold an Open House at their facility located at 9819 Glenoaks Blvd, Sun Valley, CA 91352, on Friday, March 6th from 12pm to 4pm. They want us to come by and pick their brains about Porsches and tour the facility. LA Dismantler specializes in 1980s and up 911, Boxster, Cayman, and they sell everything from parts to engines and transmissions to whole cars and shells.
