congrats! I have to hand back my Panamera tomorrow and fly home..

Send us some pics of your experiences!!! Oh, and if you can stop by the factory at Zuffenhausen - its fantastic and quite a bit different than Leipzig's.

Motobell:

If you recall, with the excitement of your delivery, how many Porsches were lined up to be delivered to other new owners. Enjoy, Type 2

There were few panameras together and couple or each or 911, macan and cayane... but there were not arranged in line

Motobell:

You have a great eye as a photographer. A number of the images that you posted are "wall hangers." Number 6, of your new Porsche 991.2, should definitely be enlarged, framed, and hung on the first wall that one sees coming in your front door of your home (just a suggestion).

What was the name of the winery that you visited, and is it in the Leipzig vicinity? Safe travels in the coming days. Type 2

Beautiful car.

I just got back from a month long trip to France, Germany and Italy. While in Baden Baden met a guy and his wife who just picked up their new 991 coupe. Mexico blue with lobster red interior. It was gorgeous.

I would never had thought about that combo but in person it looked very nice.

We drove from Baden Baden to Munich then the long way avoiding toll road down to Milan. Some of the best driving roads I have every been on

Enjoy.

PS. did manage one speeding ticket. Autobahn does have a few lower speeds sections that car appear out of nowhere.

Thanks Type2 on the comments...now that I am seeing them on my computer screen, I may print a couple of these

The wineries we visited were south of würzburg near luada-konigshofen called benz becksteine...was good - it checked the box of a leisurely day for the wife s blast down the autobahn. The Silvaner wine was really good.

Great day through the alps over to Austria and Switzerland yesterday

Great pictures - curious how the factory mounted your front plate? Is it taped on the front bumper?

Fantastic pictures! Keep them coming.

I am doing my trip in 62 days. Heading to Romania to hit the Transfagarasan highway.

I also have the same question on the mounting of the plate. I am not getting mine drilled since I live in state that does not require a front plate. My last ED, I had to bring a mount that fitted into the front tow hook. Now Porsche needs to comply with country laws to have the plate centered on the front of the car.

Hopefully that front plate will hold up to 170 mph....

@paxton and @subshooter - yes Porsche just taped it on - I didn't ask for it or even sweat the details.. this is is how they gave me the car and told me not to worry it will com off without any trace. And yes it stays on top 270kph

@subshooter jealous of Romania and the road you are going to do..

@sanfranman - if you are indeed in sanfran - would love to met up when my 911 comes out to do a drive up skyline to Alice's? Live in Bay Area as well
