Default How long from drop off until car is on vessel?

Just curious what the recent experience has been. I dropped off my Macan S on 7/27 at Sindelfingen and as of today (8/29) the car is still not on a vessel.

PCNA is looking into it but it sure seems like a long time to be sitting around over there. My previous experience is with BMWs and they were usually on a boat within 2-3 weeks from drop off.

That is on the long side of things but summer holiday could be to blame. Mine was dropped in Munich, picked up a week after I dropped it off, then at the port within a day or two. Sat for another week + until the boat sailed exactly three weeks following drop off.

You can contact the Euro Delivery team and ask. They should already have a plan for your car.

I dropped off my car with Simovic in Sindelfingen on 6 Aug and it left the Emden port on 20 Aug.

That is a really long time. No doubt the holiday period is impacting the shipment.

I dropped mine off on July 21st and it was delivered to my dealership on August 21st. That was fast.

WOW - that is fast! Congrats!!

I just heard back from PCNA and they confirmed that my car will get on a boat on 9/9. They also confirmed that it was trucked up to the port at Emden on 7/28, the day after I dropped off. So frustrating...I can't imagine why my car will have been at the port for 6+ weeks.

My car sat at the port for more than a month. I dropped the car off mid-April and I picked it up at the dealership late June.

Same here, except it only sat for about a month. I dropped off the car at the end of April. I would guess my car went over on the same ship.

It really varies by location. I dropped mine off in Munich and it took about a week until it hit the boat. But from drop off to dealer was right around 5 weeks. It's the worst part of ED
