New to the site and soon to be new Porsche owner so go easy on me... My 991.2 gt3 was scheduled for delivery 12/20. The car arrived at Davisville this past Monday. Emailed my SA regarding an update and he responded with a copied email from the regional Porsche manager saying “done shipping all gt3/gt3rs for the month, ALL WILL HOLD”. So now it will be at the port till the new year. So bummed because I was so close to getting it. Does anyone know why this happened or what this is about? I’ve reached out to multiple people at Porsche headquarters and even that regional manager but they continue to say they have no idea and it’s out of their hands.

When released from the port to the dealer the car is considered sold as far as PCNA’s sales numbers are concerned.

Waiting until after 1/1/2019 puts the ‘sale’ into the next quarter’s numbers.
