I agree. It is your vacation and you know what you enjoy. I gave you my two cents but it is really worth zero since we all have different goals and preferences.

Oh, I forgot to add:
Do not speed in Switzerland. They are very strict and the steep fine is based on your income, not how far over the limit you are cited for. They allow only a 5 kph grace, a few mph. They do not want us to use their roads as a track.
You will need a "vignette" (windshield sticker) to drive on Austrian autobahns. Not required for secondary roads, but sometimes you are forced, or stumble, on to the main highways. They are inexpensive and can be purchased at any gas station near border crossings.
We found self-parking at almost every hotel (most were high end, as we were determined to do the ED like a bucket list trip). Public parking and valet scared me, despite the fact that we had XPel installed the day we picked up the Macan in Leipzig.
This book is a treasure trove of knowledge about Alps routes and itineraries. It is a motorcycle book, but is slanted to paved roads:

I picked up my European delivery in Leipzig yesterday and got my first speeding ticket in Germany in less than an hour....and I wasn't even going fast! Haven't had a ticket in the states in over five years ( knock on wood).
Those pesky traffic cameras are a nuisance. Hoping this doesn't become a thing... Switzerland could be painful for me.

Buy a cellular data plan and use WAZE. It saved my bacon many, many times. Warns of red light and traffic cams as well as any polizei, gendarmes or carabinieri in the vicinity of your route. On my last day in Europe I did see the flash of a traffic cam exiting a tunnel into a construction zone in Stuttgart (30kph limit = 18 mph) but have not received a ticket or letter from Porsche yet, and it happened on Halloween day. I would not be surprised to see one come in after tracing my temp German plate through Porsche or PCNA Euro Delivery. The Germans are ruthlessly efficient.
I did get several parking tickets in Italy. The local cops poach the non-local cars parked in the medieval hilltop villages- use the public lots below and walk up. Some areas in old towns are illegal to even drive through- watch for restricted traffic signs. I got one of those, as well.
Which reminds me- be sure to specify no drilling on your front/rear bumper, or they WILL drill. You can figure out your front plate solution when returning to the US. The factory attached my rear plate with two sided tape and hung the front plate with zip ties. Worked great and bumpers were pristine when I had a Porsche dealer attach my USA rear plate with a drill and screws. The plastic USA plate dimension front bracket was included, I found it with the spare tire under the luggage floor.

Oh yes, I was gonna ask, what is the best way to have "unlimited" wifi device that will work through out in Europe?
There are so many options, but want to see if any of you have real-world experience.

WiFi is in hotels, businesses and hot spots, like here. Cell data is dependent on your phone, locked or unlocked, which carrier, etc.
I have an AT&T iPhone, and bought a plan with plenty of data. They offer a daily or monthly plan with different tiers of GB usage.
Did not explore SIM card purchase since our phones are locked (financed through AT&T, inside the two year contract).
A tip: Do your trip route planning with WiFi (at hotel) and enter the link into your phone with connectivity (WiFi or cell data). Your phone will crunch the route using iMaps, Google Maps or Waze. Then DO NOT alter the route when you are off line or off cell data. Your phone cannnot re-calculate a route without connectivity. But the internal GPS will continue to update the map and guide you to the destination, regardless the lack of a cell signal. We found this out the hard way, but once we learned to not alter the route when not connected, everything was copacetic. (You will lose cell coverage in the Alps when away from the villages and cities.)
Lastly, if you download City Maps to Go or Trip Advisor Map app, you can download (with WiFi at hotel) a .pdf file of each country you will be passing through. This map works on your phone or tablet (if it has GPS) even off line. It will not navigate, but will show your position on a pretty detailed map. It works in a pinch, and on a tablet is a better "big picture" than a phone screen. CM to Go has a feature that allows you to download cultural and historical Wikipedia blurbs with the map. They will also pop up for you when off line. Nice to get some position specific background info along your route, without burying your head in the table of contents of a guidebook.

I have GSM unlock iPhone so maybe I can get a universal SIM from airport to use data? (hopefully they have unlimited plan like Asia countries).
