Default Good independent shops in the Asheville NC area?

I have friends bringing me into the Porsche community. Still have one foot or more in the BMW world. I'm doing my due diligence and trying to do some self-education to get off on a good start.

I'm looking for a 996 or 997 C2 coupe and have done much research on the cars and things to look for. What I'm looking for now are suggestions for good independent shops in the area that can do an initial assessment and perform baseline maintenance and repairs. If I can't find a car that has had the appropriate fixes, I'll look for one with reasonable mileage and have the IMS, RMS, water pump, AOS, etc done and hopefully set the stage for a good experience.

With a 18 year old Z3 (94k) and 16 year old 530i (151k) I'm accustomed to maintaining older cars with the support of a good shop.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
