NYC - Parking garage with access to work on car?
Living in the financial district, I've kept my cars in an Icon garage for past five years, however would LOVE to have a garage where I have access to my car to work on / fidget with when I have down time.
Current solution for working on my car is driving 2 hrs north to a friend's garage - not ideal for the more than a day trip type jobs... I've poked around looking for 1 bay garages to rent in the boroughs, but can never find anything reasonable.
Any NYC Porsche/car enthusiast dwellers have a solution? A "car club" of sorts to rent a $2-3k/mo garage and splitting costs would be great. I currently pay $500/mo for parking, so the math could make sense for the right location.
