I’d like to know as well. I’ve usually taken all my cars to northern VA for PPF and ceramic work, as I haven’t found a reputable place in MD that does high-end and exotic cars.

Default Soon to be Porsche Owner…

I’m at the finishing line on a deal for a 991.2 GT3RS Weissach. I questioned whether I should start at the RS tier for my first P-car, but coming from M3s, M5s, GTRs, R8 V10 Plus, etc, I figured why not. I’m in the Hanover/Severn area and will be looking to meet up for C&C, PCA events, and occasional track and auto-x events. Ed at Induktion Motorsports has worked on a lot of my cars, but I may give TPC a shot since they specialize in Porsche. Car is out of state and hoping I can have it by end of next week.

There was a 996 that got a full restoration from this place.
It was ridiculous how impressive the cleanup was.

I visited them about 2 weeks ago. Nice shop and the owner was very nice. I'm going to be scheduling some work there soon.

I've been very happy with Rob's work previously on my Charger and more recently on my Carrera. This is in Ellicott City.

Default Enclosed Transport Referral…

Can anyone refer me to a top notch enclosed auto transport company? My GT3RS will be ready to ship next week. I’ve used Montway in the past, but I feel there’s a better option out there.

Thanks

Any local 996 owners with an aftermarket exhaust they wish they could trade for something a bit louder? I’ve decided my Supercups are a bit too loud for my taste, and I’m looking to either trade them for something a bit milder, or have my stock exhaust modified and reinstall it (anyone have theirs “hacked” fister, gundo, locally that could recommend a good shop?). Supercups have less than a thousand miles on them.

I used tempus logix through Uship and had good results. From CA to MD, enclosed was 1900 or so. Maybe go directly to their website and try to book. They provided the drivers phone number right away and I texted him along the way etc.

I ended up going with Bears Transport, per the glowing reviews from several members here on the forum. From CO to MD, enclosed, @ $1895. Car will be here by Tues and I’ve already talked with Rob at Proform for ceramic coating and window tint.

Thanks

Default Drives, Meet-ups, Back Roads…

As the day approaches to receive my GT3RS, my first Porsche, I’m looking to attend some meet-ups and drives. Anyone here interested in meeting up or can refer me to some local standing meet-ups? Also, what are some locations for Back road spirited driving in the area? I’ve mostly driven my cars on major routes (Route 70, 32, etc) during late evening and night times for spirited runs.

Let me know

Big fan of Rob's work he took care of my Charger twice (it was hit) and took care of my Carrera when I got rid of the Charger.
