Default 996 specialist near Eatontown, NJ needed

I just picked up a 2004 C4S Cab and would like to know who you all recommend in my area.
I need someone for the basic stuff like oil changes as well as the more complex services.
I've heard of JA Autowerks right here in Shrewsbury, does anyone have any experience with them?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Ted

Did you find a shop? I have heard good things about Bodymotion in Ocean Twp., which is right down the road. To be clear, I have not used them, but they come up a lot.

The 996 forum is very active, you might want to post there to get more eyeballs.

I was going to use JA Autowerks since I did not receive any response.
I appreciate your help, I had no idea these guys were even there, it's an out of the way street. I'm going to check them out.

Thanks,
Ted

Congrats on the car. I’ve had a lot of work done by John and the crew. Good place considering you’re close to them.

I’ve heard good things about body motion but the 1 time I used them they misdiagnosed my car and charged me waaaaaaaaay too much for a repair I didn’t need. When I had my c4s they told me my air oil separator was broken because I had a small oil leak. They go by the book so 10 hours labor on that minimum I get it back and it still has a oil leak. I bring it to Porsche monmouth, the head tech tells me my valve cover is leaking. Removes it, reapplied gasket goop, and reinstalls if for free for me. No more oil leaks

Thanks for the info. I'll try JA Autowerks first and see how that goes.

Just wanted to update everyone.
Took the car to JA Autowerks and they were really good and priced fair IMHO.
It was only my first experience with them but so far so good.

I heard some negative stories about the other shop in this thread.
I'll stay where I am.

thanks for the help.
