Default Looking for Rennlisters in the Northeast

Looking to buy my possibly first Aircooled car. Any Facebook Groups, Clubs or places I can link up with others in the Northeast. (Specially NY and Upstate).

The Porsche Club of America has local chapters all across the northeast. I’m in the PCA Pocono region. $45 per year, and if you join PCA and have Hagerty Insurance they give you a $45 discount so your membership basically is free. It is the biggest single made car club in the world with over 100,000 members, and they have their own high-quality monthly magazine and advertising for cars for sale. You will meet a lot of Porsche enthusiasts and may be able to find cars for sale through word-of-mouth.

You could also check out the Hershey Pennsylvania Porsche swap me and autocross weekend coming up in April. If the weather is nice, there will be over 1000 Porsches there. If the weather is cold and rainy like last year, they still had about 500 cars show up. There is a car corral, swap me, Concours, autocross on Sunday only, and Porsche only parking for $20 donation.

1flossedm3,

Do you have a GTR? I feel like your username rings a bell from GTRLife

Any specifics? I thought you wanted 997 or 991 but sounds like your considering earlier cars. There are a host of nice Pcar dealers in my area DE, MD, PA, NJ so if you need a set of eyes to see a particular car let me know.
