Default any rennlisters in Charlotte can help me deduce a scam?

Long story short, I was looking for a 993 Aerokit and someone by the name of Brad contacted me. He showed me pictures of an Aerokit set that was the same as an old rennlist item that never sold from user “entropychaser993”. We agreed on a price and I paid him the money (via TT he said he didn’t have paypal) and a few days after he requests an extra payment of around 40% of the original agreed price for export taxes and extra shipping costs (was supposed to be shipped to UK)

so i haven’t paid this and I’m thinking it’s largely a scam but thinking it could also be a funny seller and he actually has the parts.

the address that came with the TT was zip code 28213.

if someone is nearby that could help maybe check if this person really exists or I’ve just been totally and utterly scammed ;( I would really appreciate it either way.
