Softening BRITTLE/HARD leather
Hello everyone.
I have some seriously hard leather from a 1960s 911. Tried leatherique but as you can see from the pictures, the leather is very brittle. I can break off pieces by bending the darker areas. Any thoughts on how to remedy? I've given up on the leather being soft but trying to make the leather at least pliable again for other uses (obviously not seating anymore). Thanks so much everyone!

Go to www.prevettes.com and look up their leather restorer product which is real leather oil extract for use on car seats and trim. This is a fabulous product and makes your car smell like new leather all over again.
