85 928 HVAC fan resistor change
Sorr no pix on this one. However everyone was telling me to make this happen I had to remove the hood and the blower motor. On the 85 this is not so.
The problem: the blower motor resistor is mounted from the inside of the housing. When you remove the mounting screws from the resistor, the resistor will fall into the cavaty.
Between the blower motor and the heater core housing is a square peice of rubber that connects these two part. You can slide this rubber back and fit your hand into the cavaty to reach the resistor. The whole thing took me 10 min with out help.
