Video: How to remove 987.2 Exhaust
Made a few videos while working on the Cayman. This video was going to be about installing a Borla, but halfway through the install realized I was shipped the wrong part. To turn lemons into lemon-aid, this video can be a tutorial on how to remove the stock exhaust.

I'm taking the exhaust off my 987.2 Cayman and this was very helpful. I was able to remove mine by removing the 2 circular band clamps and then spitting the exhaust from the back and wiggling it around, but I could barely get past those two supports that you removed (vs me taking off the band clamps). For putting the next exhaust on, I am going to remove the support like you did.
