Default Porsche Maintenance Shops in Stuttgart Area

Hallo all,

I just arrived with my Porsche 996 from the USA. Are there recommended maintenance shops in the area? I lived in California and always brought my car to a maintenance shop that specializes in Porsches and European cars. I'm not sure if the dealerships here are an option and if they are expensive compared to an independent shop like in the USA.

Also, any fun day trip ideas with the Porsche? I have already been to the Porsche museum last year and signed up for a factory tour in October.

Hello,

I am not sure if the restaurant is still open in Munich named Rusticana over by the east bahnhof station.
They served some outstanding ribs if you like that dish. Use to live in Munich and Bad Aibling but not
familiar with your area.

In the Rosenheim area outside of Bad Aibling I found an outstanding non dealer mechanic to work on my
944 from 84-88. This is far from your location and hope you find a local, reputable, and good mechanic to
service your vehicle.

Enjoy your time in Germany and if they still have the Frankfurt auto show, this may present an opportunity to
locate that local shop for your 996.

Welcome and congrats on bringing your 996 over! In the Stuttgart area you’ll find both official Porsche service centers and smaller independent shops with solid experience. Many locals prefer independents for lower costs and personal service. As for trips, the Black Forest roads and Swabian Alps are fantastic for a Porsche drive beautiful scenery and amazing winding routes.

I know this is an old thread, but I used to spend a lot of time in Feuerbach at my wife's aunt's house. There's a shop that always used to have a ton of Porsches. Looks to be close to 3 Dieterlestraße.
I know nothing about them at all - just giving you another data point.
