Eckel Roof Bars and Luggage Rack for 928 S4 1990
Ladies and Gentlemen, firstly hello, I hope you are well. I am seeking Eckel roof bars and luggage rack for my 928 S4, 1990 January production, first sold new in Australia, June 1990.
Eckel bars are clearly branded and the 928 variety are readily identified by the front bar clamp/foot being angled forward, with a rubber roof mount behind. The rear bar has a foot of flat vertical plate with two holes for studs which screw into hatch panel/jamb when the rear hatch is opened.
The luggage rack is a rectangular shape made of tube of approximately 2cm diameter. Luggage rack dimensions; 115 cm long, 89 cm wide and 9.85 cm high.
The bars and the luggage rack were sold under the Porsche banner and can be found in spare parts manuals.
Wishing you all a Happy and prosperous New Year. Terence

Dear Dan,
Thank you for pix. The bars are certainly in good order.
I will pay your asking price of GBP 1,000 plus freight to Orange NSW Australia.
I would be grateful if you would please pack the racks inside their box with bubble wrap around bars and stuffed in air space. Also if you could please wrap box itself in bubble wrap.
I look forward to hearing from you. How can we communicate without exposing our emails to the public arena?
Best wishes
