Aim MXS lap time recall
Just installed an Aim MXS dash and love it. However, it only displays your last lap on the main screen and holds current lap on screen for a pre set time. I can't figure out how to view all of my lap times for the session when I get back to pits. Any input would be great.

Menu button, session recall. Power on, car can't be running.

Like Peter said. Also make sure you have current firmware. This was added in a firmware update a long while ago, but if you have an older dash it might not have it. Post back if it doesn't work.

First update your software by clicking on the cloud icon top right. Follow that menu. Then when connected to the dash, you can use the tab far right and at the bottom under all the system info it will say update firmware. Click there and you should be good. Sorry for no screen shots but I'm on my phone.
Receive your configuration before doing this I case you have any problems.
If you are at the track, I would wait as I think you will also have the gps update and have to reload the tracks.

PLEASE WAIT until after the event. Please...
First step, download "receive" your current config and save.
Then do the firmware update.
Then load the tracks.
Then Clone the configuration you saved first and make changes on THAT cloned configuration.
Then Transmit back to the dash.

Thanks for the help. I updated firmware and tracks. I now have a new icon for backlighting but still nothing for data. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong if you have any other ideas.

Select the icon left of the track icon, to the right of the backlight icon on your screen above.
I believe those are duration of log files previewed and since this is making short files when the car runs or moves, but not always on track, you may need to scroll through until you get the bigger log files displayed with lap times. You'll see ALL log files and you'll need to scroll through to get to the meat.

If your getting lots of little files, you need to change the recording criteria to get rid of them. Let us know if you need help with that.

Ok I went into that icon and there's five files in there. I cant open the files though so I'm not sure it's actually recording. I think I have the trigger at 500rpm and 20mph. Something funky with lap time on my main screen getting stuck on a random lap time to. Maybe someone can look at my config?

I'm happy to look at it. Email it over to matt@trailbrake.net
It could also be you didn't have the track coordinates in. That would make it record but not have good lap times. Download the laps and look at them in RS2.

To avoid confusion, download your files from the dash using Race Studio 3, then open them for viewing using the Race Studio Analysis button in the top left of the RS3 home page.
