I've been using a side by side tool since the middle of the summer as an alpha tester. It's getting to beta now and is really amazing. Wish I could say more, but people will love it when it's out.

Nice thing is that this tool is here now, doesn't cost anything and works with legacy video.

I'm clearly missing something. Side by side video for me isn't that great if it's time based, as things get out of "sync" as the lap time differences start to kick in.
No sarcasm here, what am I not understanding?

You're not missing anything, a tool is a tool. Lots of people like the "free."
Me, I still like Circuit Tools 2 best for this, with Comparo a close second. Interested to see ir_fuel's project, when available.

I am looking for beta testers, if anyone is interested. The thing should be pretty stable by now. It doesn't matter if you use Smartycam, Gopro, or old Samsung phone ... As long as you have laps you want to compare (can even be go karting) it's ok.
Mind you, I am looking for serious testers, not curious testers
If anyone is interested, drop me a line and I'll get you up and running.
Windows only at the moment though.
