Shift Light Reco (Solo DL system running)
I was wondering if anyone had a shift light recommendation. I currently run the Solo Dl with smarty cam. Many thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, no shift lights on the Solo DL. Helps keep the cost down.
Shift lights in the G-Dash (with the EVO4), MXL, MXL2, MXS and MXG.

The change is fairly simple and straight forward. If you have a CAN connection, it's the same high and low wires, plus the same power and ground. Mount the dash and GPS and you are physically set up. Basic configuration is very fast.
Price wise, the MXL2 is $1,999 retail. I can do a Rennlist discount and free shipping.
I would recommend one of the new dashes over the Evo4. The new file structure and alarms are worth the small premium. If you are stuck. On the Evo4 size, wait for the new display and get the Evo4s or Evo5. I have a great comparison matrix at trailbrake.net.
Feel free to email me for more info, help, or if you are interested in a new dash. Matt@trailbrake.net.

If you're looking for a stand alone device I used a Ecliptech in my (ex) GT3. Installation was straight forward for me.
Unfortunately they are in the process of a redesign so there is no product available right now. I'd like to get one for my vintage FF.

Thanks, looking forward to speaking with you.
I sold the Eliptech for several years when Traqmate was an importer/reseller. I thought it was ok, but it was a little bit of a pain to program.
I have stocked and sold the DRE programmable shift light for many years (and have good stock right now). I find these more compact, brighter, easier to see, easier to program and superior product to the Eliptech. $125 postage paid to CONUS.

Jerry has done a bunch with one of them and really likes them. Might be worth checking to see what he has. AustinMotorsports.com

The Eliptech is good, you just can't get it unless you find old stock.
