I'll have some more content on using this data coming out in a week or two. Some really neat stuff in collaboration with some other folks. I'll post it all up when it's done, but the data is very interesting!

I'll give you a hint - HR is not the only important measure...
Glad to see other folks starting to realize the value of this data. It's used all across the top levels and really starting to become more accessible to the club level. With some education, the information will be really useful to people.

I just like my HR to be non-zero.
I have been at this hobby for about 30 years, and most friends and acquaintances I have lost at the track have been due to cardiac events. I encourage track day/DE drivers (men AND women!) to understand their CV health, and when they are the same age as is typically specified for mandatory racing license EKG's, to go through the same medical examination process. Cannot hurt to have those conversations with HCPs especially if one has history and/or family history.
Interestingly, I once asked a NASA medical director about the requirement for racing license EKG and he did not know. We both agreed that at minimum, it forces a sneak peek, which cannot be all bad.

This is almost ready to post the video. Some really neat stuff in here and more coming! Most people here know me, but the Spartan Motorsports Performance Lab is cutting edge for those who haven't heard of them. http://education.msu.edu/kin/smpl/

I thought some folks might find info from a small off interesting. A pretty quick HR increase. This was from a Yellowcog Pilot-Mux and Zephyr Bioharness, easily added to almost any data system.

Some cool stuff they are doing in Indycar with NTT and Tony Kanaan. I have ECG and breathing, but the muscle use must be very cool to see! https://www.inc.com/jeff-haden/this-...han-you-k.html
