America's Cup teams have been using biotelemetry for a few years. Check out what Yellowcog is doing with the current crop of boats/competitors. I can help you put the same thing in your car for a very reasonable price.

Whoa!

Personally, I don't need an icon on the video or a data measure to KNOW my heart rate does that!

Cool use of the technology, though.

They are still selling systems and they have been using their FB page. I shipped units to Thailand and Spain last week. Email me at matt@trailbrake.net and I can give you more info.

Easy to integrate heart rate monitoring in VBOX.

GTK. Thx. Was going to stick a Garmin mount in the car. Will it pull data from the Garmin chest strap?

That’s a good idea, but the one they have set up
for use is the Tickr: The heart rate monitor is the most advanced way to integrate HR data to Video VBox HD2. It accurately monitors your heart rate and calorie burn during any driving activity. Equipped with Bluetooth Smart and ANT+ dual-band technology, it connects to the Video VBox HD2 via Bluetooth.

I don't know their system, but many that do Ant+ can be configured for any device. The Wireless systems come with an arm band, but you can use any Ant+ device. They have CAN and analog outputs for connection to any system.

This band is ANT+, but allows for a BT connection. The CAN inputs will be taken up by other sensor arrays and the output from the Cosworth. No analog inputs without an additional module for this car. No need for any of that with the integrated BT.

So what is a Tickr and how does it show heart rate in the data?
Ive always wondered by my heart hasn’t exploded or how close to overrevving I’ve been.

I don't know if anyone in this thread is interested, but I have a Wireless Motorsport Analog and CAN that is priced to sell. It's $170 off retail for anyone that is interested. I only have 1 right now before I get more in. If you're interested, here's the link https://trailbrake.com/wireless-motorsports/
